The Advanced Learning Library

Work for a new Library in downtown Wichita began a decade ago with planning and coordination with the Wichita City Council on creating a facility that would serve our community well into the future. This work expanded as the community reached out to provide the support needed for a new library. Generous donors stepped up to expand the margin of excellence to include:

  • Increasing the size of the Children's and Research pavilions
  • Ensuring that state of the art technology is available throughout the new building
  • Enhancing the building's public spaces to provide for additional learning and collaboration tools that support the seven styles of learning
