Library Giving Day Donors Make Summer Fun at WPL
The Wichita Public Library’s Summer Events, at all seven locations, will keep young minds active and learning by providing special story-times, programs, and services that create young readers through five learning activities: playing, singing, writing, talking, and reading. Some events will be hosted at Naftzger Park and Riverside Park. Examples include providing funding to increase the size of the Advanced Learning Library, providing more space in the children’s area, and the research pavilion. Underwriting all programming across the Wichita Public Library System and providing public computers and free Wi-Fi and internet access. Because of your support, the WPLF provided $552,093 to the Library during the pandemic.
